With these eight telling time activity centers, students will practice telling time to the hour, half hour, and quarter hour. Students will enjoy hands-on learning with dough, manipulatives, dry-erase markers and puzzles.

Tell MEOW the Time
Choose a cat card. Find the matching fish with the analog time. Feed the fish to the cat by placing it on the card.
★ Center 2 ★
A.M. & P.M. Sorting
Sort the picture cards onto the mat by A.M. or P.M.
★ Center 3 ★
Make the Time with Dough & Pipe Cleaners
Choose a card. Place a small ball of dough in the middle of the clock. Use pipe cleaners to show the time on the card.
★ Center 4 ★
Telling Time Puzzles
Match the analog clocks to the digital clocks.
★ Center 5 ★
Spin & Cover with Dough
Pick a mat. Spin and cover an analog clock that matches with a ball of dough. Continue until all the clocks are covered.
★ Center 6 ★
Telling Time “Watch” Dog
Choose a card. Write the time on your “watch dog” with a dry erase marker.
★ Center 7 ★
Time Match & Cover
Choose a card. Cover up all the matching analog clocks with a provided manipulative.
★ Center 8 ★
Roll & Cover the Time
Choose a mat and the matching die. Roll the die and use a provided manipulative to cover the analog clock that matches. Continue until all clocks are covered.
