Students will practice telling time with these engaging cut and paste activities.
What kid doesn't love scissors and glue? I haven't met one yet! Cut and paste is all the rage in my classroom, and I'm fine with that! It keeps their little bodies engaged along with their minds.
This file includes 24 -- yes, 24 -- cut and paste activities for practicing telling time to the hour and half hour. There are 6 pages each for telling time the hour and half hour and 12 pages of mixed review.
What am I going to do with 24 activities that cover only one standard?
Ohoho, my friend! That's the beauty of the whole thing. Use a couple while you are teaching the standard.. but then keep the rest around. Pull them out whenever the mood strikes you to review the standard. It's important to review mastered skills, lest our students "forget" and progress is lost. (Sort of like how those push-ups I did last month aren't doing me any good now...)
Use these when you are first teaching time. Then put some in your sub tub, use one on a Friday afternoon when little hands need tasks, when you have to give that quick make-up test, when the lights go out and your technology-rich lesson is ruined. The review is great, and sometimes we need a mastery activity to boost our confidence.
Another idea? If your students have wandering eyes, print three different pages. Pass them out so that neighbors have different activities. (You devious teacher you!)
Tell me what's included again.

Telling Time to the Half Hour (6 pages)
