Telling time and being able to understand elapsed time is a difficult skill for many students. I found that before I could even move on to elapsed time, I had to "fix" the foundational skills that my students were lacking. I created this sheet because my students needed a little extra practice determining the difference between a.m. and p.m. This is an original creation made with my current 3rd graders in mind. I used this as morning work, but it could also be done as a homework assignment or as a station during Math centers.
