“Scoot” is a fun, engaging movement game for students.
The teacher places the 48 telling time cards on the students’ desks or around the room (or 24 cards on day 1 and 24 cards on day 2). The teacher describes the rotation path for the students. The students read the time on the analog clock. Then the students write the digital time on the answer sheet. When they hear the teacher call “SCOOT”, they move to the next question/card. When all of the cards are completed, the class reviews the answers on the answer key. There are 48 cards in this set practicing telling time to the quarter hour. I have included all possible combinations in this set.
Your students will LOVE playing this game as they practice telling time to the quarter hour.
This product can also be used in your math center or posted around the room as a telling time math measurement scavenger hunt.
This purchase includes 48 telling time task cards (to the quarter hour), two answer sheets, and two answer keys.
I included two separate pages for the answer sheets and answer keys in case you want to split up the activity into two sessions (the first 24 problems on one day and the second 24 problems on another day).
