Need it for your 5E lesson plan? Perfect for the ELABORATE portion of the 5E lesson plan. This assignment words great for those students that understand the skill of telling time to the minute.

Students are to use 2 dice. Once the students have rolled the dice, they are to decide which dice will represent the hour and which dice will represent the mute. Record the digit for the hour and the minute. The student must know what the digit represents as it relates to time.

EXAMPLE:
The 1st dice landed on 8. The 2nd dice landed on 10. The dice represent the following time: 8:50. In 4 more minutes the time will be 8:54.

EXPLANATION: The dice represents 8:50 because on a clock, based on the decision of which dice represents the hour/minute, the 8 represent the 8th hour, and the 10 represents 50 minutes.
