A fun center to help reinforce telling and writing time.
4 clock cards. Laminate, cut and allow students to draw the time with a dry erase marker.
48 task cards. Laminate & cut.
Partners put task cards facedown in a pile. Each student has a clock. The first student draws a task card and reads the time aloud. The partner then draws the hands on the clock to match the time of what the first student said. The student who read the card then checks the time drawn with the answer key at the bottom of the task card. Then the other student draws a task card and reads the time and then checks what the partner drew. Play continues.
There are task cards for every hour on the hour and every half hour. There are 24 digital clock task cards and 24 word task cards. (o’clock & half past)
