This handy little one-page template will help you students navigate the tricky task of solving simultaneous linear equations using the elimination method. It breaks down the process into 6 easy steps and provides space for the students to work. This method gives them a structure to follow and some prompts to remind them of the steps. Once they have the method down, the template won’t be required but there is an interesting extension question at the bottom for them to test their understanding with.
A worked example is provided, showing students how to use the template and do a basic question.
The template is formatted and fonts selected in an attractive but welcoming and friendly way that helps students engage and maintain their focus.
This template is perfect for students who are just beginning the topic of simultaneous equations, check out my other templates (we have one for substitution method and graphical solution as well!).
Thanks for checking this one out, hope you and your students love it!
