This activity pack (already included in our Letter of the Week packet for U
) is for the timeless story, "Ten Apples Up", includes three activities, each offered in either color or black and white.
This activity is also included at a cost savings in our Bundled Reading Literacy Packet - Library One
1. Ten Apples Up: A cut and paste activity. Students can practice fine motor skills as they draw themselves with 10 apples up on top.
2. Simple Writing Sentence Activity: Related to the above activity, students will write a sentence (most of which is already written in dotted letters) but will add in three extra simple sight words (Up On Me).
3. Apple Worm Craft: No Prep Craft. Students will cut out their own apple (excellent for a first days of school activity) and will choose a place for a hole to be punched. Sticking in their finger creates a wormy apple. Extra materials required for this craft are scissors and a hole punch for teacher use.
Excellent activity for a follow up to reading "Ten Apples Up" or for your Apples unit.
