Set of Ten Turkeys: Laminate and cut out for use on the pocket chart. If you would rather use a flannel board, you can copy the turkey pages on printable iron on and attach to flannel, or just laminate and cut out the turkeys and add a little velcro dot to the back of the turkey and it will stick to the flannel board.

Ten Fat Turkeys : Ten Frame Math Book Printable for children to complete and take home. You can let them ink stamp in the ten frames to match it to the number on the page, or use little circle dot stickers…I have done both. If you have some fall themed stamps, they enjoy using those with colored ink. I have bought the little “garage sale” dots and let them stick them on the ten frames as well.
You can use these cards in centers, for whole group or small group activities.
Two sets of cards can be used for a memory game center.
You can put the plain or zero ten frame at the math center (make multiple copies so each child at the center can have a ten frame) and put out some play dough and the number cards. Children can pick a number card and use the play dough to fill in the ten frame. Perhaps you could go on a nature walk and collect real acorns to fill the ten frames with!
When I am reading the story, I place all ten of the big color turkeys on the pocket chart (flannel board) and let children take turns coming up and taking a turkey down.
Also includes a whole group or center activity with life size ten frame! Also ideas for a photo display of the children working on the ten frames!
