In these worksheets the student are expected to count each color dots, and record that in a number sentence. Then, the students are expected to count them dots together and record the sum. The dots are presented in a “10 frame” to help the student “see” the sum. This can be used as an instructional tool, a review, or as an independent work center.
The large print, defined space for each number, and the absence of distracting graphics are all purposeful considerations for learners with special needs.
