"How many days have we been in school?" ten frame pages. Students will add a "spot" to the ten frame pages each day to keep track of how many days they have been in school.
These were made to be added to the calendar routine in lower elementary - this can be integrated into your math curriculum in many ways: simple counting by 1s and 10s. Younger students can figure out how many more days until they reach the next full frame, how many days until they will get to 100, etc. Older students can use them to create calendar addition problems.
Page 1: 3 ten frames with the title "How many days have we been in school?"
Page 2: 3 ten frames with no title
Page 3: Large title "How many days have we been in school?" to be used for an optional different calendar setup
Pages 4 - 12: Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, pink, brown, and black spots that can be laminated and re-used each year to fill the tens frames. I added multiple colors so you can choose your favorite, or help students learn and work with patterns throughout the year (35 spots on each page)
Pages 13-14: Spots for holidays/changing seasons (hearts, christmas trees, pumpkins, clovers, snowflakes, suns, moons, and clouds).
