This product includes a basic set, where the dots grow in the correct placement (filling a ten frame correctly). Show the card and the students tell you the number they see. There are also some frames included for advanced flash. These are all out of ten still, but the dots are randomly placed on the ten frame. This allows the students to find various ways to solve for the number. One student might see a ten frame with 7 dots as a set of 3 and a set of 4. Another student could look at the same exact frame, but see 3 blank squares which is how they made 7. The uses are endless!
In my room, I printed out the frames and glued them on card stock. I then laminated the cards and put them on a ring so I don’t lose them. This is just one idea of how to keep the cards!
