Let’s get our primary students showing and representing numbers! Interactive Ten Frame is math tool that allows primary learners to see numbers, understand that numbers are composed of ten and some ones and develop place value skills using a ten frame.
Interactive Ten Frame is thematic by month, so the pictures included are seasonal. For February, it is a winter background and pictures of objects associated with February.

How does it work?
It works just like a printable ten frame but it is on the computer. Students read the number and build the number by clicking on each square. To help students to self-monitor, they will hear an applause when they made the number correctly. They will hear a bomb if they show too many.
This activity is great for computer center, math warm-up, math centers, guided math or a paperless morning work activity.
This is a FUN, hands-on, interactive resource to get students counting using 1:1 and representing a number using objects. This is also a great seasonal activity for special holidays.
This resource includes:
• Interactive Ten Frame PowerPoint Presentation for numbers 1 – 30
• Ten Frame Center Activity – Ten frame, double Ten frame, triple Ten frame (2 versions) and numbers 1 – 30 counting cards. Just like on the computer, students read the number and build the number using math manipulatives. Number cards come in color and black and white
• A description of this resource including how this resource is aligned to state standards.
