This is a fun, hands on, way for your kindergarteners or first graders to practice the combinations that make ten. You will copy these ten frames on card stock, construction paper, or regular paper, then cut them out and laminate them, so they last year after year. (I make a few sets for math centers and I copy them on different colors of construction paper, so kiddos don’t mix their pieces up with their neighbor’s pieces. Then I put each set in snack sized plastic bags). Have your kiddos put the ten frame puzzles together and then record the equations on their recording sheets.
