Young children will have fun learning to recognize number patterns on a ten frame while playing a game with their classmates. When the bell rings, students "scoot" to the next task card and determine the number on the ten frame model. This activity helps reinforce foundational skills and leads to greater understanding when it comes to beginning addition and subtraction.
