Do your students need more practice in "Numbers and Operations in Base Ten"? What about K.CC.A.3-writing numbers from 0-20? Well look no further than my ten frame QR codes.
QR Codes are a fun and engaging tool to use in the classroom. My own class of Kinders LOVE using them!
QR stands for “quick response”. They are similar to a barcode but can store much more information. You access the information, or in this case, ten frames, by scanning the QR code using an iPod, iPad, smart phone or tablet.
Search the app store for any free QR code reader, my favorite is QR Code Reader by Scan.
Simply print and laminate the cards and you are ready to roll.
My ten frame space QR codes can be used in a variety of ways. I’ve included a recording sheet for students to write the number for the ten frame. They can be used in a center or posted around the room for a number scavenger hunt.
