0 through 10 Cards
Included in this set are numeral cards 0-10, ten frames filled with 0-10 dots, and double dice/dominoes 0-10.
These math cards are used to help students perceive the number of a group of items (dots) at a glance and without counting. They can be used in a variety of ways:
•as flashcards, with the goal to become faster at naming how many
•as a memory game
•as a Go Fish game
Suppors Mathematics Common Core Standards:
*Students use numbers, including written numerals, to represent quantities and to solve quantitative problems, such as counting objects in a set; counting out a given number of objects; comparing sets or numerals.
•Count to tell the number of objects.
•Understand the relationship between numbers and quantities; connect counting to cardinality.
•When counting objects, say the number names in the standard order, pairing each object with one and only one number name and each number name with one and only one object.
•Understand that the last number name said tells the number of objects counted. The number of objects is the same regardless of their arrangement or the order in which they were counted.
•Understand that each successive number name refers to a quantity that is one larger.
