Ten Little Indians Beat and Rhythm Practice Pack
Ten Little Indians is great for beat practice and perfect for improvisation! I use it in November around Thanksgiving time and we count indians, turkeys, pilgrims, pumpkins, zebras, zombies, puppy dogs and kitty cats!
My students love to use crazy beat pointers and interactive white board pens. Tap the beat charts in Kindergarten and 1st grade and bring it back after presenting takadi / tikati / tiriti and read the rhythm! Improvise names of animals or groups of people with the improvisation slides.
