Are your students learning the "Ten and Some More" way to help better understand and identify teen numbers? In this set you will receive paper dice that you can print onto cardstock, cut and glue or print the cards to insert into reusable dice (not included -- pictured/made by Carson Dellosa).
Students will roll the teen number dice and create the teen numbers either by filling in double tens frames or using base ten blocks. While stating the "Ten and Some More" way. Example: Students roll and say "I rolled 14, that is 10 and 4 more." They then color in 10 and 4 more on their recording sheet.
There are 3 different versions of each recording sheets included. One version just has a place for students to represent the teen number. The other version includes a place at the bottom for students to record the "Ten and Some More" way. The third version includes a place underneath where students will write a number sentence below their ten frames or base ten blocks.
