Show all the different ways you can make ten using this fun and crafty tens frame robot.
Children can use the tens frame buttons on the robot to show different ways of making ten.
My class loved using bingo dotter pens to show which two numbers could be combined to make ten. They then recorded their answer on the robot hat using numerals. To finish off our robots we stuck on googly eyes to bring them to life.
Children are practising their constant recognition of their number bonds to 10 whilst also developing their hand eye co-ordination to cut the robot shapes :)
I have made the robot black and white, giving you the option of allowing children to colour the robots themselves. Alternatively, you can photocopy the different body parts on different coloured card stock.
