I created this et of practice problems for my high school physics classes. This item includes 6 practice problems (1 page) and a detailed key. There is room for students to work out the problems on the page.
You can use the key for yourself or provide it for your students so they can check their answers and see where they are making mistakes (this is how I use it with my students).
This set of practice problems corresponds with the following Georgia Performance Standards:
SP1. Students will analyze the relationships between force, mass, gravity, and the motion of
a. Calculate average velocity, instantaneous velocity, and acceleration in a given frame of reference.
d. Measure and calculate the magnitude of frictional forces and Newton’s three Laws of Motion.
e. Measure and calculate the magnitude of gravitational forces.
h. Determine the conditions required to maintain a body in a state of static equilibrium.
