This is a hands-on activity where students need to first identify and talk about the geometry vocabulary about angles and triangles. Then they work with a partner (or individually) to create them.
Students will be to be reinforced the vocabulary words: triangle, acute angle, obtuse angle, right angle, right triangle, equilateral triangle, and isosceles triangle. This can also be an informal assessment. Early finishers can also pull out their math journal, and write their own definition of the terms. Make sure to add these vocabulary words to your math word wall!
