Use this test correction form to keep students focused on the correction process. Students will only correct the problems on their tests that they did not get correct. Ask the student to identify the question they are reworking; record the correct answer (most useful if the test was multiple choice); explain why they got the question incorrect; and have them rework the problem. This can be used as a portfolio entry, an annex to an assessment, a classroom activity, a classroom discussion starter (Common Core supports critiquing the reasoning of others) and a review the final exam or any other standardized test such as the ACT or SAT.
