The test itself is four pages total, with the last page of the document containing an answer key. The test does include an extra credit section as well, with the opportunity to earn up to fifteen percent added to the final grade. There are three sections, all of which are multiple choice.
The first section is a listening comprehension section from the movie. I suggest the clip to be played two times and to not show the video (although it doesn't give anything away specifically, it could be a source of distraction).
The second section is based on the reading of these chapters. There are several questions that require very close attention to detail of the reading, but for the most part are fairly straight-forward.
The third section is based on vocabulary from these chapters. Rather than use the book as a reference, I created sentences with little outside context so students purely rely on their knowledge of the vocabulary.
The extra credit section is a free response question that requires a deeper level of thinking in French. Although the question is translated, I personally would award little to no credit for a good answer in English.
