Make test prep fun with a test prep carnival! Students will answer text-dependent questions that are both multiple choice and short response. They will read rigorous passages and then answer the questions in order to earn tickets. These tickets can be used in your classroom carnival.
You can use real carnival games or just use board games!

Students have to prepare for state testing, there is just no way around it. But I like to make it engaging for them so they work hard! In this challenge, they are engaged the entire time so that they can earn tickets to play games. They read and work on text dependent questions that are similar to what they see on testing. They don't even know they are preparing for the test!
