This is a writing test smash; the prompt is based off of a Research Simulation Task for the PARCC. The material may be differentiated by levels by using the NewsELA website where the sources are. It is simply just a print and go type of resource! What is easier than that?!

The students will identify the essential elements that belong in an introduction paragraph and write their introduction paragraph.
Students will identify the essential elements that belong in the body paragraphs and write body paragraph 1.
Students will write body paragraphs 2 and 3 using their planning sheet from day 1 and the essential elements they identified that belong in a body paragraph.
Students will identify the essential elements that go into the conclusion paragraph and write the conclusion.
