Product Description
TestOut's PC-Pro course is an excellent tool for teaching high school and adult students the basics of Information Technology through the use of its interactive simulator and excellent videos. Version 5 was just released and includes new topics that will prepare students for the CompTIA A+ 220-901/220-902 and IT Fundamentals FC0-U51 certification exams as well as TestOut's own PC-Pro certification exam.

This material is a constant work in progress. As more material is added you will benefit by being able to download the updates for FREE. This will continue throughout the lifespan of TestOut's PC-Pro version 5 courseware. More labs and new lecture material will be added in the coming months and a notice will be posted each time an update has occurred that you can download.

Offered here is support material for the course in the form of interactive worksheets, labs, and study guides to help guide your students through the course. All material is offered in both interactive PDF and Microsoft Word 2007 format that you can modify to fit your needs if you wish.

Items included are:

Study guides covering the 12 sections of the PC-Pro course.
- Each study guide covers the topics the student will understand after completing the section.

Hands-on labs that cover building a computer from scratch.
- The simulations are excellent but students need to actually touch real equipment. More labs will be introduced over the next few months to cover Windows 7/8/10 and Linux installation and configuration, EIA/TIA 568A/B Ethernet cabling construction, and basic SOHO network setup and configuration.

Interactive worksheets (146 of them!) to help reinforce topics learned.
- Every subsection of the PC-Pro course has at least one accompanying worksheet to help gauge student learning. They also help to ensure that the students are actively reading the material offered. Every worksheet has an accompanying answer key included.
