This is a powerpoint that I use to introduce testable questions or observations linked with evidence. The powerpoint includes an essential question and vocabulary. This slide is at the beginning and the end of the powerpoint. The students copy the essential question and vocabulary, then take notes in order to answer the essential question at the end of the presentation. They are challenged to use as many vocabulary words as possible when answering the essential question. The slide titles are What is Observation, Testable Questions, Testable vs Non-Testable, You Try It, and Gathering Knowledge, There are two practice assessment questions toward the end of the presentation.
