Students review half of Texas History by creating a set of museum exhibits and related tour. Exhibit topics include Texas before Europeans arrived, exploration in Texas, missions, the fight for Mexican Independence, colonization, the causes of the Revolution, the Texas Revolution, and Texas as a Republic. This project combines academics, opinion, visuals, and creative tasks. For each exhibit sample people/events/battles/etc are provided for students to choose from, but they are not limited to those lists. A points distribution is included. This is most easily completed in groups. See the preview for a closer look!
