Included are 20, approximately 4x6 inch cards that each feature an official symbol of the State of Texas. The cards contain: the title of the symbol, a picture, and the name of the symbol. Also attached is a teacher-tool that identifies the symbol by name and the year it became known as a symbol of Texas, in chronological order. Cards can be laminated and placed in a Social Studies Center, displayed on an interactive bulletin board, or simply used as an instructional resource!
Additionally included are materials for set-up in the Social Studies Center: a title for the project, TEKS, and the Task Card. Enjoy!
