I hope your class enjoys this fun Texas Bingo. There are 24 different game cards in this set. This game is a great way to review 17 common Texas symbols.
Symbols in this game are:
Guadalupe bass (state fish)
Chili (state food)
Seal of Texas
Armadillo (state small mammal)
Monarch butterfly (state insect)
Pecan tree (state tree)
Mockingbird (state bird)
Mexican free-tailed bat (state flying mammal)
Bluebonnet (state flower)
Longhorn (state large mammal)
Horned lizard (state reptile)
Texas blue topaz (state gemstone)
Texas red grapefruit (state fruit)
The Texas Capitol
Students will need 9 bingo markers to cover spaces on their card (unifix cubes or skittles work great!)
Lay calling cards face down. Turn top one over and call to the class. For added difficulty, you can give “clues” instead of just reading the symbols. Students will cover the corresponding picture on their game card. First player to have 3 in a row wins!
Just print and laminate for years of enjoyment!
See the preview file for example cards.
