Description
Reading passages and citing text evidence are fundamental skills for grades 3-5. This bundle includes short reading passages to help your students construct meaningful and valuable responses to prepare for state testing and master text based questions.
RACE/RAPS Resource (Free with Bundle)
Includes posters outlining R.A.C.E. (& R.A.P.S.), sentence starters, and an example. You will also receive a rubric, graphic organizer, bookmark and a flap book for each student that can be printed on Astrobrights and laminated for an easy reference!
Reading Passages
Includes 10 fall, winter, spring, and summer themed passages with comprehension questions that ask students to cite evidence or complete the narrative (per most state assessments). I have also included lined response worksheets that encourages students to utilize the RACE writing strategy (restate, answer, cite text evidence and explain their response). All reading passages are compatible with Google Classroom.
