This is a thinking map that allows students to record their connections made to text during and after reading. Four "thinking bubbles" surround the page to remind students of the types of text connections that can be made and what they mean: Text-to-Text, Text-to-Self, Text-to-Media, and Text-to-World. This thinking map should allow students to record and see their connections made to texts that are read.
Directions: Students will use the column on the left to write in each box what the text says that reminds them of something. They will use the column on the right to write in the corresponding box of what their connection is that they are making.
