Looking for a way to explain the TDA rubric to your students? Try a picture version of the PSSA scoring guideline! I developed a display chart that contains a picture or two for each of the nine bulleted items in the TDA rubric for Grades 4-8 PSSA to help students associate a visual with the hard-to-understand verbage. Simply run off these pages and put them together into a big chart! I kept this chart out at all times, and when students were writing TDA's they could refer to the picture to help them understand what the words meant. It worked very well for our 4th graders! When you download this PDF, you will also have the option of printing it out as a poster for your classroom. Hope this helps! Would love to hear your feedback.
