How can you use this product in your classroom?

⬟ This is a mini-edition. There are eight passages, as opposed to 12-14 like my other products. This edition is great for the first week of school to get your students' feet wet. They will learn about important back to school themes and lessons while getting practice answering open-ended questions and citing their answers.

⬟ These original stories are written primarily for 2nd and 3rd graders and are Common Core-aligned. {This edition is probably too difficult for incoming firsties. Please download the preview before purchasing.}

⬟ Students read the stories/passages and answer open-ended questions about what they read.

⬟ Title strips: Use these to have your students make predictions about what they're about to read or at a center.

⬟ These sheets are great for centers, assessments, homework, or classwork.
