I use this sort activity to help my students practice defining and identifying text features. There are three cards each for 15 different text features: the feature, definition, and an example picture. I print, laminate, and cut the cards and keep them in a bag. Students then sort out the cards to match up the feature, definition and picture. There is a recording sheet for them to use as well which asks them to copy the definition and then tell how the feature helps them understand the text.
