Product Description

To build student self-efficacy, students will practice identifying and justifying their answer of which text structure is used in the media clip. In this 8-slide PowerPoint presentation, students focus on understanding description, sequence, compare & contrast, cause & effect, and problem & solution in short media clips. Each slide includes the question, "Which text structure is used, and how do you know?" and includes a graphic reminding students of the various text structures. This PowerPoint is a great way for students to practice building self-efficacy as it relates to text structures before transferring their knowledge to literature.

Note: The Hattie effect size for building student self-efficacy is .92, which equates to almost a 2 years growth!
