Text Talk Level B
For every story, this product includes:
Vocabulary Cards: You could use this with your word wall, or for a weekly bulletin board. If you print this off on regular paper, you can split students into a group and have them create quick posters for each word.
Before you read questions: Used to build background knowledge. I like to use this for morning work the day that I read the story. This way it gets students in the right mindset for the story.
Testing Prep Questions: Not your typical worksheet. I use this format to help prepare my students for the FSA testing in Florida. Question formats include: Filling in charts, multi-select (or circle), Sequencing, and short response.
List of stories included are:
Ruby the Copycat
The Principal’s New Clothes
Possum’s Harvest Moon
Mice Make Trouble
Alexander and the Wind-Up Mouse

An Extraordinary Egg
Mike Mulligan and His Steam Shovel
Tikki Tikki Tembo
