Pages 3-5: read each scenario card and chose the emoji that best fits the scenario.
Pages 6: Practice writing your own scenario (text) for the given emoji.
Pages 7-8: Read the topic/theme of each card and write an appropriate sentence for each emoji ( answers must relate to topic and emoji)
Pages 9-11: Look at each emoji and decide which emotion it represents and evidence on how you know.
Page 12: Generate your own emoji on the recording sheet.
We live in a world of technology and that means texting with emojis! Students will have to learn when it is appropriate to use which emoji. This will also allow students to socially understand facial expressions and know which to use in real life situations.
