PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Teaching the American Revolution can sometimes be tiresome for you and your students. I like to use this tech-savvy activity to keep my students engaged and excited about learning more.

What if George Washington and King George III had cell phones during the American Revolution? This activity allows students to express their creativity by creating their own text dialogue between the two historical figures.

I like to use these with my social studies centers. You could also use these as morning work, an extension activity, ticket out the door, or as a review.

What's included?

- teacher & student directions
- 5 texting activities
-extra texting page for creative writers
- decorating activity
- grading rubric

* Each texting activity requires students to summarize, list antonyms/synonyms, or create their own similes or metaphors.
