Your students will love making their own pumpkins which will describe what they are thankful for. This is a great activity to use for regular or Special Education students during the fall and around Thanksgiving time. The download includes 2 files: a step by step written directions with pictures on how to complete the activity and adapted directions using Meyer-Johnson symbols for the students to read and check off as they complete each step. The project can be performed with or without the adaptations. Options for adaptations are included on each step of the directions, making it easy to adapt the activity for every skill level and to differentiate the activity to the needs of all your students. It works great as an individual, group or class project and can be led by teachers or related service providers. Students can then take home their work or you can hang in with ribbon on the bulletin board to showcase their work. Enjoy this fun fall craft with your students!
