These basic writing prompts with coordinating graphic organizers allow your students to respond to discussions or texts about thankfulness or gratitude. Use these prompts to help your students become more independent with sight word sentence writing and illustrating.
Included in this resource are 3 prompts with 3 coordinating graphic note organizers. Teachers can use each organizer + prompt in one writing lesson, or the students can complete the organizer in one lesson and then use it to assist in writing in the next lesson. These prompts are great for the week leading up to Thanksgiving!
The writing topics include:
"Who are you thankful for?" (2 versions including the pronouns he and she)
"How can you show thanks?"
"What makes you feel thankful?"
