Trying to survive the days leading up to Thanksgiving? Don't worry, you can still do academic review, but also bring the fun of Thanksgiving in your classroom! This pack can be done in one day (or more if needed) with little preparation. Just pick and choose what works for you. This is intended to help you survive what can be a crazy, crazy day at school!
This set is great for 2nd graders to 5th graders! Just be sure to read the descriptions below to be sure it fits your needs. Feel free to ask any questions!

♦ Narrative Writing Activity
where students follow the story of their turkey who has disguised them self and is trying to lie low in the days leading up to Thanksgiving! No one wants to end up on a plate! Notes for you are included as well.
♦ Map Skills - "Turkey Road Trip"
: Students will answer questions about the map using directions. TWO versions are included:
- basic cardinal directions (all answers include north, east, south, or west)
- intermediate cardinal directions (all answers include north, east, south, west, northeast, northwest, southeast, or southwest)
♦ Science - Turkey Life Cycle
students can create a wheel or "flapbook" about the turkey life cycle. You can use this as a matching and sequencing activity for individuals, groups, or centers. There are a few different versions to accommodate your needs! Teacher notes included!
