Looking for an easy Thanksgiving treat for your students to make their parents? This is the product for you.
This little booklet has a cover page and a total of 5 other mini pages (all of these pages are the same). Kids can color the cover (turkey and outline images), and on each page there are lines for them to write what they are thankful for. In addition, every page has an illustration box for them to illustrate what they are thankful for.
For example, "I am thankful that my mom takes me to my sporting events." and then they would illustrate something related to sports and mom taking them to the event.
This booklet can be stapled on the left side or held together with a little metal brad.
Use it in your classroom however you would like.
If you are like me, you want to allow your kids to make something special for their parents to tell them how thankful they are, but you don't want to spend a whole lot of time doing it. That's just the way of the classroom, right? Especially with older kids like my 4th graders.
This activity can be done as a center or even for morning work because it doesn't take a whole lot of direction.
