Happy Thanksgiving! This NO prep activity is developed to target articulation skill in preschool and elementary school aged students. This activity is motivating for students because they love working with money skills! It is a wonderful way to get many trials of practice while the management of the game is easy. All black and white printing options included.
Targeted Sounds: F, V, S, S blends, L, L blends, R, R blends, K, G, SH, CH
Print 5 copies of the money page (color or black and white) and one “bank”. Prep one spinner. Use a pencil and paperclip to create a spinner. Print one sound page for each student. Store the turkey cash on the included bank page. On each turn, the student will use a paperclip to spin the spinner and collect whichever dollar amount he/she spins. Store that money on his/her sheet and write the dollar amount next to a speech sound target in the box. Practice the target word the equivalent of the dollar amount (1, 5, or 10 trials). At the end of the game, you may (or may not) choose to tally the amount earned and identify a winner.
