This product is created to support young children to:
*Look carefully at the beginning sounds/letters in words *Notice the importance of spaces between words *demonstrate comprehension *pay attention to conventions (capital letters, periods, etc.)
Teachers can use for meaningful morning work, for word work, in guided reading groups and/or centers.
Teacher can have the class correct the activity as a whole group by having the identify the shapes in order.
For this activity students need to cut out the shapes and glue them in the correct order. I made a color version and a black and white version. It also includes a picture to support earlier readers and no picture for those that are able to read it independently. Those students can demonstrate comprehension by making a picture to match the sentence.
