The EET is a great tool to help kids describe objects. It expands there utterances and gives them a rubric to follow. Students will have fun collecting Thanksgiving dinner and describing cards!
How to Play:
Print out food cards and plate on cardstock and laminate. (Print out enough plates for each student or use real ones!
Students will take turns choosing food cards! They will try to fill their plates with all the different foods for dinner (turkey, mashed potatoes, corn, and pumpkin pie)
For each food card the students will use the EET visual to describe the object. If they get it correct they keep the food.
The first student to collect all the food on their plate for Thanksgiving dinner wins!!
But watch out for the “burnt food” oven cards because you will lose a turn!
** Venn diagram and compare/contrast visual aid included. Students can draw two cards and compare and contrast the two objects.
