This Thanksgiving emergent reader is the perfect addition to your holiday lesson plans! Get students reading and ENGAGING with sight words in a hands-on way with this Interactive Sight Word Reader about the First Thanksgiving! Your students will LOVE creating this sight word book and will want to proudly read it again and again. Interactive Sight Word Readers are a great, inexpensive way to build a personal reading library for each of your students.

Preparation is a breeze with Interactive Sight Word Readers. Each page in the book is formatted to print two-to-a-page for quick and easy collating. Simply copy the book, cut to separate, and place a staple in each half-sheet booklet. Copy the letter page separately and cut down the middle to provide each student with a strip of letters to fill in their sight word books.

WHAT OTHER TEACHERS ARE SAYING

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My students loved doing the book and also did Here is the Feast. They were so excited to read them both to their families on Thanksgiving.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Love the Thanksgiving theme on this one. Perfect timing since that is the time "this" is introduced.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ These are amazing! I pair this up with another sight word bundle that I purchased. My class does the book the day I introduce the word and then the second activity the following day. They are perfect for repetition and memory! I love that they are simple readers that my students can take home and practice with their parents. Thank you for the great file!
