What educators are saying

Great prompt sheets for promoting gratitude! Loved the fill in the blank sheets. Prompted class discussions, too! Thank you.
I left this resource for a substitute when I had to miss school for an appointment right before Thanksgiving break. It was easy to follow and students enjoyed the process/product.

Make celebrating Thanksgiving in your classroom meaningful and engaging while incorporating writing skills. This set includes 3 no-prep writing activities perfect for celebrating all students can be thankful for! Quick and easy prep with clear teacher directions makes these activities perfect for the days before the Thanksgiving holiday.

Your students will write an amazing poem using the poem template. Students will enjoy drawing and/or writing about all that they are thankful for.  Students can share their gratitude for others by writing simple heartfelt notes of thanks to important people in their lives.

Here's what is included:

  • “I Am Thankful For” poem template: - Students complete each line beginning with “I am thankful for….”. And repeat the “I am thankful for….” line throughout the poem for a sweet poem that shows gratitude.
  • Give Thanks Mini-Poster - Students write and draw to share Family and Friends that are important to them and explain why.
  • Notes of Gratitude - Students can write short notes to someone special and explain why they are thankful for them. Have students write to family, friends, teachers, school staff, bus drivers, or anyone else important in their life.
  • Color and Black/White Options for all activities!

Your students will love showing their gratitude for all the special people and things in their lives. They'll be able to write and communicate all of the things they have to be thankful for.

Quick and easy prep... Just print the student pages and you're ready for fun and engaging Thanksgiving writing activities.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Dale G.. says, “My students created beautiful, tear-jerker poems for Thanksgiving that their parents adored. The resource was very easy to print and use in class with little preparation. The templates for writing about why you are thankful for an individual were a hit, too. This fits right in with your team-building/classroom management routines. This resource was very well crafted.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Linda A says, "Perfect for this week! I especially like the cards they can complete and give to special people!"
