This is used as a three day lesson exploring common herbs used at Thanksgiving. First the students are given a bag filled with herbs, they smell, taste, and feel the herbs. Then in the chart they read about each herb and match the ones from their bags to the correct place on the chart. The next day in living skills students are taught the correct way to prepare each herb and then they perform the skill. Finally a small turkey is prepared using the cut herbs and enjoyed for "Friends-giving".
